Chris Vrenna
It was touring that introduced Chris Vrenna to Reason. He needed a light and transportable keyboard rig for touring with Marilyn Manson. Flying constantly between festivals, they couldn't bring the truckful of gear they had used earlier and Reason turned out to be the perfect live setup.
We met with a very tired Chris Vrenna in his home in Los Angeles. Working in the studio with Marilyn Manson means you work the night shift. He had crawled out of bed for our late afternoon visit though, and talked to Propellerhead product specialist James Bernard about his use of Reason on the road. We also got a walkthrough of his Reason rack setup for the track Sweet Dreams.
